Bible Verse

Ecclesiastes 3:1

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."

Connection

We go through so many different seasons of life. . . big and small. God has his intention of why he makes these changes in our life. He has a purpose, even when it's hard to understand. These changes happen for a reason. We all experience different seasons in our life. We could be having a season of happiness, sadness, thankfulness or forgiveness. Wherever we are, God meets us where we are. When you feel uncertain or things are out of your control, turn to God. He wants to hear from you. He wants to help you during your tough times.

Right now, I feel like I'm in a season of planning. I'm a huge planner and organizer. My son's 16th birthday is coming up this week. I realize that as our kids get older, there is less to plan for our family birthday parties. All I need to do is to make sure the house is clean and decorated, gifts are bought, and food is ready. That's okay. I know he is still so happy. After his birthday, I have an even bigger party to plan. My daughter is graduating from high school this year. We have been so busy getting ready for every step of college for her. It's definitely been a moment in her life, when I take time to thank God for all that he has given me. Planning her graduation has been so much fun. We are having it at a park, and I've been taking time finding cute ideas for her party. I LOVE decorating, especially when it's for my children!

Devotion

Think about the season you are in. You may be uncertain and that's okay. Maybe you are in a season of uncertainty. Wherever you are, God is with you. Thank God for all of the moments that have you brought you to this season of life.
