Bible Verse

Phillippians 4: 6-7

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation. . . present your requests to God."

Connection

Everyone has worries. Worries about your family, your children, your job, your future. . . we all think about these important parts of our life. It's when we allow our mind to take over, and then anxiety creeps on. It's hard not to let your mind control you. God wants us to turn to him, the second you feel a worry. God wants you to turn to Him, because he is by your side through it all. He will listen to you, guide you, and help you. Instead of keeping your worries inside, talk to God. When you turn to God, he gives you the calmness and peace you need at the exact time you need it. God will protect your worries, like a shield.

I know it's hard when you are in the moment. Your mind is consumed of your worry, and you can't stop thinking about it. It can be so hard at times, you feel like your mind is stuck. Then, not only is your mind affected, but your whole body is affected from head to toe. You may feel tense . . . you may get a headache . . . you may feel like you can't move. God has you . . . just let Him. "Let Go, Let God." That means, simply share everything with God. He wants to listen to you. He wants you to turn to him. He's here for you 24/7. I know God listens to me. I know God want to help me. He's protected me, He's kept me safe, and He loves me. Even when I went through one of the darkest times of my life, He helped me all the way through. He can help you too.

Devotion

Let God know your worries now. Talk to Him. He wants to hear from you, no matter what time it is. Not just today, every day. You will be able to see over time; how much God has helped you. When you talk to God, remember to ask for help, and to also thank Him for all that he already has done in your life.

I will help you . . .

God, I would like to share and pray about . . .

God, I really need your help by . . .

God, thank you for . . .
